A stubborn lesson that sparked Squatch Laser

Two old men, both disabled and one a veteran, wanted to buy a laser so they could make gifts for family and friends. One of them insisted he could never learn. The other scoffed, saying he could teach a monkey to do the job.

He was proven wrong, because that old monkey was tough to teach. So they built a push-button front end that finally made the laser behave. It worked so well, they turned it into a business.

That is how Squatch Laser came about — practical, stubborn, and built with real people in mind.

What can I customize?

Nearly anything with a clean surface: tumblers, hats, glassware, leather, slate, wood, and more. If you have a special item, we can confirm it before engraving.

What is your typical turnaround time?

Most orders are ready in 5–10 business days after approval. Larger or complex projects may need extra time, and we’ll confirm the schedule up front.

Do you provide a mockup before engraving?

Yes. We share a digital mockup or proof for approval so placement, sizing, and text look right before anything is engraved.

Can you handle bulk or B2B orders?

Absolutely. We can brand sets for teams, shops, or client gifts and keep files on hand for easy reorders.

Do you take wedding or event orders?

Yes—favours, signage, bridal parties, and keepsakes are some of our favorites. We recommend reaching out early to reserve production time.

What is your service area or delivery options?

We’re based in La Grande, Oregon. Local pickup or delivery can be arranged, and we also ship within the U.S. when needed.
